Clarissa Stone

Clarissa Stone was born in 1803 and died on April 25, 1864. She was born to Thomas Stone and Mary Polly Parmalee. She later married Willis Stone, a carpenter. Their children included Edwin, Frederick, and Helen, who all seem to have died before their tenth birthday. Their daughters Ellen and Cornelia lived to adulthood. Willis passed away in 1857 and by the 1860 federal census Clarissa was listed as "independent." She died in Bantam, and was buried in the Bantam Burying ground.
