Stays (corset is incorrect term); beige silk over linen base, linen lining, green silk bindings, silk thread, lucet cord (not original?); according to researcher Ginny Bishop, these stays were laced over the stomacher (910038b) in the front, giving a nice smooth look under formal garments; cording removed by Ginny Bishop in 2017 (unknown if it is original, but likely not) and is stored separately in Box 10
