Seafarer’s Contract of 1774

Seafarer labor contract for the crew of the schooner Diamond owned by Oliver Hull, 1774.  Document is hand written and spells out the general duties and pay of the crew of 5, including John Scranton.  Table of monthly wage and payments included.  Invokes “Law of Grate Britton” and King George the 2nd.  Document is single page in generally good condition with some staining, except for top inch, which has some paper missing.  Was apparently folded into sixths for use (open flat now).
