Costume, Shoes - Wedding Pumps with Rosettes | Worn by Maude Scranton Pierce

Satin, Leather
These lovely wedding pumps are made from cream colored ivory satin. The vamp is decorated with a small decorative tongue and a rosette of white chiffon and cream ribbon. The leather soles have a narrow waist and are pointed softly at the toe. The curvy wooden Louis heels (OH 2 3/8") are covered mostly by satin, save for the heel breast with leather. The shoes are lined with white leather at the heel, quarter, and reaches around the opening of the shoe like a facing. The upper is lined with tan cotton twill. The inner sole is white leather. 
"235   37738 / 931" is printed in black ink on the quarter lining of both shoes. 
#81.381 is the wedding dress these shoes were worn with by Mrs. Maude Scranton Pierce.  9 1/4" long.  Condition: Good.
