Wool sampler with alphabets and numbers in alternating colors. It reads, "Mary Elizabeth Prudden marked this sampler in the 10 year of her age. 1794 Mary Elizabeth Prudden is my name New England is my station Milford is my dwelling place and Christ is my Salvation when I am in my grave and all by bones are rotten. When you see this remember me that I may not be forgotten."  square 12 1/8".
