Saber Scabbard - Brass Mounted Leather Scabbard

Sabre scabbard made of leather with brass tip protector, hanging rings, and mouthpiece. Lower hook has a a small leather and brass buckle attached. Brass pieces have scalloped edges as well as three close lines along the edges, and the brass looks fairly worn. Brass pieces with the exception of the tip protector are loose. Leather is also worn in places along the body and edges. Originally used with a U.S. War of 1812 Officer's eagle head ivory grip saber. Curved and about 30 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide.
