Curatorial Description
Gown with short bouffant sleeves of deep red velvet. Front bodice, epaulets and double wrap skirt are of an ornately embroidered satin with bead trim. The satin is gathered in swags. V-neck closes with hook-n-eyes. Velvet forms a long train with slight bustle. Clothier's Tag inside, "Peter Robinson, Oxford St. Regent St. London".  OL 54" ; Waist 26"
