Curatorial Description

Document is series of letters. First letter is from John L. Lochhead to Platt regarding the guns of the Monitor. He offers to send a photo and a scale model to Platt. The second letter informs Platt that the Mariners Museum only has plans that are often reproduced in submarine books. The third letter is from C. S. Laise and informs Platt about the Monitor model that the museum has. The fourth letter is from Platt to the museum inquiring about where to acquire a model of the Monitor. The next document is a pamphlet from the Mariners Museum.
