This collection contains materials reflecting the history of the Hungarian community in the Bridgeport/Fairfield area from the 1880s to the present.

This collection was undertaken by a committee led by Robert D. Kranyik, working with the Fairfield Musuem and History Center to document the history of the area's Hungarian community. It is named in honor of Robert D. Kranyik, who passed away in 2012.
