Alexander Liberman

Alexander Liberman (1912, b. Russia) studied painting at Andre Lhote in Paris and architecture at August Perret & Ecole Beaux-Arts, Paris. He exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, among others. He was the Editorial Director for Conde Nast Publications from 1962 to 1970s. His work is held by the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art and Tate Gallery in London.
