Florentine H. Hayden

Florentine Harriet Hayden (1859-1943) was the daughter of Waterbury inventory and artist Hiram Hayden. She illustrated several books, including Mrs. Browning's Poetical Works (TY Crowell & Co., 1884) and two works by Anna B. Ward, A Dictionary of Quotations from Poems (1883) and Surf and Wave (1883).
Florentine Hayden served as the treasurer for Waterbury's Young Women's Friendly League and was active in the Waterbury Institute of Crafts and Industry. She lived on Pine Street.
