Stephen Brown
Stephen Brown was born in Greeley, Colorado in 1950 and earned his BFA from Colorado State University. He studied with Alice Neel at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine, and later became her studio assistant in New York City.
Brown has had solo and group shows in New York City, Connecticut and Florida. He is an Associate Professor of Art at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.
