Marc Chabot

A Waterbury native, Marc Chabot works primarily as a printmaker. He has taught drawing and printmaking classes throughout Connecticut.

Chabot attended the McTernan School in Waterbury where he won the Minnie Rogers Steele Award in 1969, and he attended Taft School in Watertown. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Studio Art from Skidmore College in 1978.

Chabot was a visiting artist at Weir Farm National Historic Site from 1995 to 1996, and he has won numerous awards and prizes, including some from the Kent Art Association and the New Haven Paint and Clay Club. His work has appeared in solo shows, group shows and juried exhibits. His work is in the collections of the Boston Public Library, the New Haven Paint and Clay Club and Skidmore College.
