Rachel Samantha Randall was born in
Bridgewater, Connecticut to Jonathan
and Abigail Gorham Randall. She married
John Minor, a farmer, and the pair moved
to Roxbury, Connecticut. Their children
were named Charles, George, Jennie, and
John. In the 1880 Federal Census, Rachel’s
occupation was listed as “housekeeping."
