Harry Laylon (1911-1997) was employed by Chase Brass & Copper Co. from 1933-1940, succeeding Helen Bishop Dennis as Director of Design in 1937. Laylon was responsible for more Chase items than any other designer, creating at one-fifth of the entire specialty line.
