Jillson House Museum

The Jillson House Museum was the home of Windham entrepreneur William Jillson who bought the first water rights on the Willimantic River.  His home, now a living history museum, was constructed in 1825 of gneiss stone harvested from the Willimantic River and is a magnificent example of architecture and ingenuity.
