Curatorial Description
red calico print and pink cotton pieced to form variation of tree everlasting pattern.
Made by Elizabeth Northrop Pruden after she was 90 years old in 1862.  The calico at $1.00/yd was purchased in the West Indies by sending a coop of chickens from Augusta Georgia.  It was first made into dresses and later into a quilt.
