Bicentennial quilt for town of Madison. Border is predominantly red, white and blue calico. Backed with white fabric. Ball fringe attached for hanging purposes.
Large Bicentennial Quilt for the town of Madison, CT.  Awarded Honorable Mention at the 1977 Connecticut Quilt Show sponsored by the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission of Connecticut.
28 squares of different sizes, often signed by their maker, appliquéd with scenes from town - Lee Academy, Scranton Library, etc. 1976, cotton fringe, excellent condition.  87" X 71".
