Curatorial Description
This antique hand-painted document box, circa late 18th to early 19th Century, might have been part of a dowry. It ended up back where it came from, at the Allis Bushnell House. It was originally Chloe Scranton’s (Bushnell) box. lt was purchased at Freeman's Auction by MHS 15.25" x 9.125" x 7"
