Exterior view of the Old Sun Tavern, the two-story structure has a porch with pillars, windows with and without shutters, two chimneys, and a front entrance. Trees and plants are visible on the property. Printed at the top center, "Old Sun Tavern, Fairfield Conn. One of the houses left standing when / Fairfield was burned by the British. About 1776." Printed at the bottom right, "P-64354." (Note that historical information in title is inaccurate, as Fairfield was burned in 1779 and the Sun Tavern was not left standing, but rebuilt afterwards in 1780.)
