Charcoal portrait of young woman (mother of donor) with round eyeglasses; bow in back of hair; dark high-collared shirt, white over bodice with lace trim and puffed sleeves. Inside an oval mat; framed in an elaborately carved frame with carved scroll/floral trim alternating with stained wood, mid-1890s.
