This sideboard was given to Roger Minott Sherman by his uncle Roger Sherman, signer of the Declaration of Independence, Mayor of New Haven, and Senator of the United States. 

Gift in Loving Memory of Barbara Ann Skriletz, a descendant of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Minott Sherman, by her husband, Richard A. Skriletz, and her children, Forrest D. Skriletz and Shane R. Skriletz.
