Timothy Lee (1745-1836) of Guilford used this canteen during the American Revolution. He served as a Private in Captain Bezaleel Bristol's militia company while it was stationed at Peekskill, New York from October 6 to December 6, 1777. He was also a member of the Guilford Coast Guard briefly in 1781.
