Brown riding coat with black silk lining which buttons in the front three black cloth covered buttons, c.1880. There is a symmetrical pattern on either side of the jacket done in embroidery which also accompanies the cuffs of the sleeve. It looks to be a riding coat due to the split in the back and large separation between sides in the front. Material is delicate due to age.
