Female rag doll made by the donor c. 1940. Part of a set (see 44.2.4). They have wire supported limbs, gray hair.  Faces and limbs formed by molded, painted and shellacked fabric, in a technique similar to needle molded stockinet dolls.  Female wears a woven bonnet, a full length striped dress with blue dots and a white apron. Female is 12 3/4" tall
