High quality, matted, black and white photos of original oil portraits 7 1/8" x 9 3/8", mounted to 8" x 10" Presumed to be collected for a c.1950 MHS exhibit.
Betsy Scranton looks directly at the viewer with a serious expression on her face. She wears a white bonnet with lace and frills along the lower edges and which ties in a symmetrical bow beneath her chin. She wears a simple black dress with white lace at the collar and full-length sleeves. She knits a circular object with three needles near the bottom of the frame.
