Doll with hat in front of an empty soda glass & medicine bottle titled "poor sick Billiken" & signed Urquhart Wilcox.
One of three original, signed watercolors painted by Urquhart Wilcox to amuse his daughter Ethel (4/24/1905 -10/4/1944) when she was ill with pneumonia as a small child.  All three pictures are of her dolls. Upon her recovery, she gave the pictures to her physician, Dr. Milo P. Rindge.
Urquhart was a nephew of George Augusta Willcox and the son of Daniel Hand Wilcox.
