Framed watercolor painting on paper of the John & Rebecca Grave House, H: 5 3/4" W: 9 3/4" sight, H: 7 7/8" W: 9 13/16" in frame. This painting is under glass on a white mat in a beveled wooden frame with an inner ridge of the frame being painted gold. The Grave House was built c.1710 and was demolished in the late 1800's. The Grave House once stood in Madison on the west corner of Boston Post Road and Academy Street, where the Hand School has stood since 1919.
