L-shaped heavy wooden frame with sliding augur screw bit attached.  Bit is manually rotated via geared handles and forced down by the operator.  Augur is retracted by engaging a geared rack to cause the augur to reverse out.  Used by carpenters for boring holes in large timbers.
25" high, 29" long and 16 1/2" wide.
