Curatorial Description
Large 18th century maple bowl, hollowed out from single piece of lumber.  Bowl has split and was once carefully repaired, but the mend has since been removed.  Remains of old paint on the underside are still visible,  Cut-out for fingers on underside lip for ease of lifting.   29 1/2" X 21 1/4" xx8 1/4" Donated by E.T. Nash from the Squire Hand homestead.
