Measurement Notes: “Boy” size
Blue boy’s large size Mets baseball jacket, zippered. “METS” patches in white sewn across front. Blue and white borders on cuffs and waist. Tag sewn in at neck reads “Made by EMPIRE Sporting Goods, N.Y.C. 13 Union Made Boy’s Large”. Good condition - small tears at shoulder and cuffs.
Provenance Jacket was given to Henry Griggs by John Swanson (Opening Hill Rd), who wore it in the 1966 Madison Little League. John believes the team was sponsored by “The Young Folks Shop”.
