Double breasted Senior Officer's Frock Coat - (Major thru Colonel) of Connecticut Volunteers (Union Army). Blue wool coat with brass buttons (one missing). Buttons inscribed with "Connecticut". Lined with cotton. Tailored by Brooks Brothers, Broadway, NY. Decorations removed from shoulder pads - the tabs on the shoulders were for holding on the the dress epaulettes which would have denoted his rank and branch of service.. Condition good; OL 34 1/2".
