This small box camera, with a molded Bakelite body, was introduced by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1949 and manufactured until 1961. These easy to use cameras were popular in the 1950s as they required no settings - much like the "point and shoot" cameras of today. The Brownie Hawkeye Flash model sold for about $7.00 in the 1950s. Includes flash attachment and flash bulb. 4" x 3.25" x 3.1". 5.25" diameter shield.
