Plaque has wood frame with a gold colored aluminium face held down by a small philip wood screw in each corner. Wording is: "OUTSTANDING YOUNG FARMER, FIRST PLACE AWARDED TO EMIL A. MULNITE, STATE OF CONNECTICUT, IN RECOGNITION OF EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESS IN AGRICULTURE AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY. SPONSORED NATIONALLY BY UNITED STATES JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND NATIONAL LP-GAS COUNCIL. At the top is a graphic of a farmer with sprig of rye on each side of the face, a tractor to the his right and a truck to his left. At the bottom, on each side, is the seal of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce.
