One legal sheet of white paper acting as a folder around the photocopies. Handwritten "Civil War Diary George V. Shedd Oct 1864-1865" written diagonally on the front. Inside there are 51 photocopied letter-size pages which show two pages each of the diary which had been handwritten. There are also four photocopies of a memorial to the MA Vols. 39th Regiment, Company B. Diary talks of weather, his camp, some fighting.
