Orders read: "The several Captains or Officers commanding companies in the 34th Regiment are hereby ordered to parade their companies on the ground near the Church in Wilton on the 21st day of September at 8 o'clock in the morning for inspection and review completely armed and equipped according to law..."
Written on September 3rd, 1814 by Lieutenant Colonel William Belden, Commandant of 34th Regiment.
