Pedersen Golf Clubs was founded in Wilton in 1926 by three brothers, Albert, Paul and Walter. The company was highly innovative, introducing custom-fit clubs and clubs with flexible steel (rather than hickory) shafts. Pedersen clubs were high-quality and expensive, and remained popular throughout the 1940's and 1950's.
