A glazed ceramic tile of Middle Eastern origin, salvaged from Laurelton Hall after the fire. The tile in stylized geometric and floral pattern in green, black, blue and royal blue with white outlines. The tile is encased in a modern wooden frame.This tile was salvaged from Louis C. Tiffany’s Long Island home, Laurelton Hall, after a fire left it in rubble in 1957. Many beautiful objects survive that testify to the home’s former splendor and the affluence and aesthetic of its owner.
