Ship builder's adjustable try square used to scribe or transfer angles onto wood. Stamped "E.E.W" (for for Emery E. Wildes,1835 - 1926 (a ship builder)). on the end of the copper strip. Made with 2 pieces of wood spaced apart to accept a stiff copper strip pivoted at one end of wood pieces. No manufacturer or calibration marks - possibly hand made. L 8", W 5/8".
