Ink on paper. "The Heart of Juliet Jones" comic strip was created in 1953 by Stan Drake, who drew the artwork, and Elliot Caplin (younger brother of Al Capp) who wrote the story. Drake, a Westport resident since 1960, continued the strip through 1989, then handing it over to Frank Bolle, another Fairfield County-based cartoon artist. The soap opera-like story follows the characters of Juliet Jones and her sister Eva. The strip was syndicated by King Features.
