Ink on paper. Leonard Starr's comic strip "Mary Perkins, On Stage" followed the career and adventures of a Broadway actress. Syndicated by the Chicago Tribune, it ran from 1957 through 1979, and won numerous awards from the National Cartoonists Society. Leonard Starr, a prolific comics artist, lived and worked in Westport since 1970.
