Presentation Tea and Coffee Service
Tea set given to Aaron Benedict by te stockholders of Benedict and Burnham Mfg Co 1855. Given to the Mattatuck Museum by Mrs Nelson Pomeroy on June 1, 1962 and March 1 1963. Marked "Ball Black and Co / Successors to / Margrand(??) & Co / New York" and " * / WF / * " to L&R of said text. Additional text "AB" cetner of each piece in cartouche form with grape vines, grape leaves and buches of grapes. Handles are formed as grape vines; finials include bunches of grapes.
