Amos Pritchard married Lydia Blakeslee until her death in 1772, and Mary Tompkins Adams (widow of Samuel Adams) from 1777 until Pritchard's death in 1814. Based on dates, Mary probably created this quilt somewhere between 1800 and her death in 1820.
