"Piano Cigarette Box", designed by Dr. Albert Reimann, is unmarked and never appeared in a Chase catalog. It was unofficially called the "Piano Cigarette Box", because of its resemblance to the shape of a baby grand. Reimann was unique among Chase designers, in that his designs were created in his native Berlin, then sent to the United States for manufacture at Chase. Reimann designs, all introduced prior to 1933 (or in the 1933 catalog), are extremely rare and desirable.
