Deteriorating spine and corners covered with leather. Paper lining on front cover has penciled numerical chart signed by "John J??". Full title on title page: "Town and City / Atlas / of the / State of / Connecticut / Compiled From / Government Surveys, County Records and Personal Investigations. / D H Hurd & Co., / Boston / 1893. / Copyright, 1893, by D H Hurd & Co., Boston". Table of contents includes index to views and index to county and misc maps andd index to city and village maps and index to statistics. Contents include county, city, and township maps, many in color, and photographs of businesses/industrial areas including "Rose Hill" and Rogers & Brothers".
