Faye Orvetti and Jewel Lucarelli gave an oral history interview for the Brass Worker's History Project with Jan Stackhouse on February 11, 1981. A partial transcript is available. Faye Orvetti and Jewel Lucarelli became acquainted during the 1940s when they were in a war program designed to bring new workers to Connecticut factories. They discuss their childhoods in Oklahoma during the Depression and their experiences in joining the workforce in Connecticut. They also discuss the role of women in home life and work. Only cassette tape 2 was able to be digitized due to condition.
