Eddie Labacz was a factory worker and president of UAW local 1827. Eddie Labacz was employed at Bridgeport Brass company since 1941. In 1961 he became president of UAW local 1827. He discusses conditions in the factory, union activities, and neighborhoods. The oral history interview was conducted by Jeremy Brecher on October 16, 1980 for the Brass Workers' History Project.
