Catherine Coscia gave an oral history interview with Jan Stackhouse for the Brass Worker's History project. A partial transcript is available. Catherine Coscia came to Waterbury as a young girl in 1925. When she was nine, her mother died and she was responsible for the care of her brothers and sisters. She worked in many brass factories, and retired from Eyelet Specialties in Wallingford. She describes her work, accidents that happened, and her regret in not becoming a toolmaker.
