Ed Lasky gave an oral history interview for the Brass Worker's History Project with Jeremy Brecher on November 15, 1980. A partial transcript is available. Ed "Hap" Lasky was an electrical contractor who obtained his first job in 1910 when he was twelve years old. He recollects Waterbury neighborhoods of Brooklyn and the Lithuanian neighborhoods. His comments cover politics, church, and Irish-Lithuanian relationships.
