8vo (198 x 123mm), pp. xli, [3], 444, plus 8 pp. of contents at the rear. Bound in contemporary sheep. Front pastedown inscribed by George E. and Daniel Hand, along with a shelf mark.

Third edition of a book of English constitutional law by Edward Wynne (bap.1734, d.1784), an English jurist and scholar. Eunomus was among his best work, and went through at least five editions before the 1830s. This copy was, unsurprisingly, first owned by Judge George E. Hand while living in Michigan. He has inscribed his name in blue ink to the front pastedown. Below, his brother Daniel has also inscribed a note: "This book belonged to Judge Geo E Hand of Detroit Mich and is presented to the Hand Academy of Madison Conn by his brother Daniel Hand April 1890."
